Summer Sing 2019: June 4, 11, 18 and 25  at Rodef Shalom

Miss the camaraderie of choral singing in the summer? Don’t have time to join a choral group during the year? Simply love to sing? Come join us at the Bach Choir of Pittsburgh’s Summer Sing!

Jon Erik Schreiber, associate conductor of the Bach Choir, will lead four Tuesday evening sessions, each devoted to a major work. Open to singers of all levels. Sight-reading skills or a bit of advance practice will greatly enhance your experience. We will provide copies of the scores for each session.

$15 per session, or $45 for all four! Advanced Registration is highly encouraged.

Workshop Details & Materials

June 4, 7-10pm - Mozart 'Requiem'

To aid in your preparation, follow the link for a pdf version of the score that we are using –  Mozart-Requiem (Brissler).

You are not expected to print this out at home. A prepared score will be distributed as you check in.

Practice your parts! To enjoy the Summer Sing, a good chorister really ought to study their part ahead of time. Here are some resources to help you rehearse on your own:
